Family Health Services Medical Records Management
NHS SBS has transformed the way this service is delivered to the seven NHS organisations in NE London, producing an operating cost saving in excess of £100k per annum per PCT based on a like-for-like service. We expect overall efficiency savings in excess of £3 million.

Our Medical Record Management offering comprises:
  • the transfer of physical records from GP to GP to provide a secure, timely, cost effective transition, thus improving patient safety
  • the transfer/forwarding of correspondence from acute/secondary providers for records in-transit from GP to GP.
Data Security
Data security is an essential element of our Medical Records Management Service. We are the only shared services provider to be SAS 70 accredited and have strict measures in place to protect client data. In particular we are aiming at Level 3 Information Governance Assurance Framework (IGAF) accreditation which will make NHS SBS a leader in the field of data protection - we already have Level 2 Information Governance Assurance Framework accreditation.
