NHS SBS has transformed the way this service is delivered to the seven NHS organisations in NE London, producing an operating cost saving in excess of £100k per annum per PCT based on a like-for-like service. We expect overall efficiency savings in excess of £3 million.

  • primary care providers (e.g GP practices, dental practices, community pharmacies and high street optometrists) known as Performers provide services to patients and as such are entitled to payment for those services in accordance with the contract between them and the Primary Care Trust. We calculate the amount that they should be paid, agree the amount with the PCT and then facilitate the payment. The services provided are business to business (B2B) and should be invisible to members of the public who access NHS primary care services provided by primary care providers (e.g GP practices, dental practices, community pharmacies and high street optometrists) known as Performers.
