Based on the feedback from people across our organisation, we’re so happy that our colleagues continue to feel that NHS SBS is a great place to work.
Having achieved a record overall score of 75% in 2023 – a 9% increase on our previous year – we have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work® (GPTW), the global authority on workplace culture. We are ranked 27 among the Super Large Organisations list of 50, up from 38 in 2023, in addition to being recognised as a GPTW for women and for those in the technology industry.

Insights from our latest annual survey show that NHS SBS employees feel the organisation is a great place to work because they understand how they contribute to the overall business objectives, are treated fairly, feel supported by their line managers, and are made to feel welcome when they join the organisation.
Our annual survey is instrumental in giving our employees a voice, helping us better understand their experience of working here and their relationship with their managers, their colleagues, and their work. It helps us measure our progress and the effectiveness of the actions we’ve taken, and to identify areas for improvement so we can keep building a great place to work, together.
