When does it start?
25 August 2017 - 24 August 2021
Who can take advantage?
The Framework Agreement is free to access for all UK Public Sector Bodies
What does it cover?
To provide Estates, Facilities and Capital teams a compliant route to market for the provision of Building Services Management, utilising both SME and national providers.
The scope of the Building Management System (BMS) is to design, supply, install, service and maintain a computer based control system that manages and controls, but is not limited to the mechanical and electrical services of a single building, up to an entire portfolio of buildings using intelligent standalone controllers, or outstations, to accurately control plant such as boilers, pumps, fans, lights and security systems in response to changing conditions such as time, temperature and light levels.
Why should I use it?
• OJEU AVOIDANCE
A detailed procurement exercise has taken place to ensure that suppliers selected meet all legislative requirements; therefore no formal tendering is required, saving valuable time and money in the procurement process.
• DIRECT AWARD
The agreement gives freedom and flexibility for all Participating Authorities to choose the suppliers they wish within the remit of the Agreement.
• COMPETITIVE PRICING & MINI-COMPETITION
Capped pricing during the framework period to support budgeting and calculation of benefits realised by participating authorities. Mini-competition may be undertaken to meet the bespoke requirement of each customer.
• SUPPLIER MIX
The agreement contains large national providers, but also a healthy number of regional SMEs to be more reactive to local needs.
