Framework Agreement Description
The electrical sundries and components framework (Hard FM) provides estates, facilities and capital teams a compliant route to market for the provision of electrical sundries and components. This framework utilises both SME and national providers to provide a broad range of electrical sundries and electrical components, as well as advice, support and general product enquiries. The framework agreement also provides a facility to provide authorities the ability to obtain all requirements from suppliers at a competitive market rate.

What does the framework cover?
To provide Estates, Facilities and Capital teams a compliant route to market for the provision of Electrical Sundries and Components, utilising both SME and national providers.
Electrical Sundries & Components: The scope of the services includes, but is not limited to:
• A broad range of Electrical Sundries and Components
• A facility to provide authorities the ability to obtain all requirements from supplier(s) at a competitive market rate
• A facility to provide advice, support and general product enquiries
What are the benefits of the framework?
• OJEU AVOIDANCE
A detailed procurement exercise has taken place to ensure that suppliers selected meet all legislative requirements; therefore no formal tendering is required, saving valuable time and money in the procurement process.
• DIRECT AWARD
The agreement gives freedom and flexibility for all participating authorities to choose the suppliers they wish within the remit of the agreement.
• COMPETITIVE PRICING & MINI-COMPETITION
Capped pricing during the framework period to support budgeting and calculation of benefits realised by participating authorities. Mini-competition may be undertaken to meet the bespoke requirement of each customer.
• SUPPLIER MIX
The agreement contains large national providers, but also a healthy number of regional SMEs to be more reactive to local needs.
