About this agreement

This is a multi Lot framework covering a variety of Urology
products and associated support provision and is suitable for
both Acute and Community use.
This framework has been put together with a strong clinical
focus, informed by an expert clinical stakeholder group, and
provides access to products and services through established
suppliers, and also through SMEs.
The framework is split into Lots as follows:
• Lot 1 - Catheter Valves
• Lot 2 - Sheath Systems
• Lot 3 - Urine Drainage (including 2 litre drainage bags, 500ml leg
bags and urine meters)
• Lot 5 - Foley Catheters and Supra Public Catheter Set(s)
• Lot 6 - Nelaton and Intermittent Catheters
• Lot 7 - Faecal Management
• Lot 8 - Lubricant and Anaesthetic Gels
• Lot 9 - Bladder Irrigation
• Lot 10 - Accessories
• Lot 11 - Dispensing Appliance Contractor Service (DACS) - award

awarded the agreement.
• AGILE FRAMEWORK
The appointed suppliers will be able to bring forward new
products within the scope of their awarded Lots
throughout the life of the agreement, subject to clinical
evaluation and approval.
• MINI COMPETITION
Opportunity to run a mini competition off the back of the
framework agreement to meet the bespoke requirements
of each organisation and drive down pricing.
• CENTRALISED AGREEMENT
For direct purchase with contract management and
supplier communication included.
• CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Supplier performance, customer satisfaction and spend
against this contract are monitored on an ongoing basis
by NHS SBS.
