General Ledger Reconciliation Packs revamp

NHS Shared Business Services is working towards changing the way we prepare and present your General Ledger Reconciliation Pack.

We have listened to valuable customer feedback and that of our team here at NHS SBS, and for some time now, we have been working on areas where we could improve the way the packs are prepared. Some of the changes you can expect from the refreshed solution include:

  • improved layout and presentation of data / metrics
  • streamlined tabs
  • better content including more detailed reconciliation information, clear status of items resulting in a consistent approach
  • online training documents and helpful tips embedded within the pack
  • planned webinars / video overview to assist new starters

Last month, we called out to clients to take part in a pilot to test the 'new look' solution during May / June. We're pleased to say 15 clients are now helping and this is a great opportunity to influence change and shape the outcome. Interim and final packs in both the existing and new format have been sent to these clients. At the end of the test period they will complete a survey and give us feedback which we will review in detail.

Between now and October we will continue to work on the improvements and keep all our customers updated as we near completion. Over the next few months we will send detailed rollout plans/requirements and training dates in good time for the changes.
