We celebrate the big 7-0
We hope you received your birthday card!
As part of the NHS family and a dedicated partner for over 13 years, we were keen to mark this milestone, and to celebrate and share our memories of the NHS over the years. Many of us here have contributed to the success of the NHS for a great number of years, even before NHS SBS launched in 2005. Our goal is the same now as it was then - to help the NHS to make savings that can be redirected towards front line care.
On this anniversary, like many up and down the country, we got together to have a cuppa and to celebrate in a variety of different ways, raising over £4,750 for the following NHS charities, chosen by our employees.
The Sheffield Hospitals Charity supporting local staff to provide the best medical care possible, to help make patients feel even better
The South Western Ambulance Service Charity raising funds to benefit those in our communities using our service and improve the welfare of Trust staff and volunteers
The South Central Ambulance Charity working across Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire to support South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust with state-of-the-art equipment, research, training and innovation
The Bradford Hospital Charity raising vital funds to improve patient experience in many ways to buy life-saving equipment, support medical research and training
The Christie Charity raising funds to provide treatments and care above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide, ensuring patients have the best possible outcomes
