Robotics Process Automation (RPA) is gaining momentum

Our first robot has gone live!

Freddie, as it has been named, runs each morning and looks up the most up-to-date foreign exchange rates which it then inputs into over 4,000 processes with Oracle. As part of our commitment to move forward in the robotics world we have been assessing our supplier links, using feedback and advice from RPA industry leaders Deloitte and auditors PwC. We are also currently working with a new RPA supplier: UI Path, to review how best to support our RPA Programme ambitions.

As a result of the work done to date, over the coming months we expect to activate a further six robots across a range of functions. Initially, our robots will focus on internal back office processes, which will allow us to save time on admin tasks and invest more in bespoke support for our clients.
