New framework agreements launching

Did you know? Buying via one of NHS SBS's framework agreements offers typical savings of around 5 per cent - and frequently more.

A wide range of products and services are already available via our 70 frameworks - everything from construction consultancy to catheters. We are constantly renewing and refreshing our portfolio of agreements to ensure they remain relevant and offer value for money. NHS SBS frameworks can be used by any public sector organisation, not just the NHS. This includes local authorities; schools, colleges and universities; the emergency services, housing associations and more.

New or refreshed frameworks being launched in the next three months include:

  • Testing for drugs of abuse at the point of care. Includes a large menu of tests in a variety of combinations, including opiates/opioids, THC, methadone, amphetamines and others. Can be used to determine what drugs have been taken to enable a patient to receive the proper treatment, or to monitor for known or suspected drug use.
  • Workforce Wellbeing. Includes Occupational Health services (absence management, assessments, immunisations etc); Employee Assistance Programmes and Wellbeing; and Optical Services.  Suppliers include both NHS and non-NHS organisations.
  • Construction Consultancy Services. Including architectural services, quantity surveying, health & safety and environmental services amongst others, this is one of our most well-used framework agreements. Suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects, the number of SMEs with local knowledge and expertise on this framework means that the direct award option is particularly popular.
  • Bill validation and cost recovery services. Covering energy, water, telecommunications and rent/rates, suppliers in this framework will undertake a forensic investigation of billing and useage history, enabling them to identify both current and historical overcharging, and allowing clients to recoup costs.
