Introduction from David Morris

David Morris Over the past couple of years you'll have heard a lot from us about how our investment in new technologies is critical to ensuring business services that befit a modern day NHS.

And in this newsletter you can read about how some of the exciting developments we've been working on are really starting to come to fruition.

By implementing new digital ways of working and introducing bespoke products and services, which are specifically designed to help you overcome the everyday challenges of running a busy NHS organisation, our aim is to provide you with more time and money to focus on world class patient care.

As 2019 fast approaches, I'm delighted to update you on some of our brand new systems that are soon to be launched widely across the NHS. Innovations like our Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting (PB&F) tool, which has the potential to transform the way you manage your financial cycle, plus the highly-anticipated platform that is set to revolutionise NHS procurement, The Edge4Health™.

You can also learn about our exciting new digital partnership with one of the world's leading heart and lung hospitals, how easy it is to access NHS SBS services via a new NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS) framework, and Penny and Suzie - the newest robot members of our team!

Finally, we have a couple of dates for your diaries - we'd be delighted if you could join us for an informal drink on 27 November at the HCSA annual conference to mark the launch of our Healthcare Improvement Solutions. And we'll be at the HFMA conference from 5 to 7 December - visit our stand to learn more about our services and be in with the chance to win some great prizes.

Please do get in touch if you have any comments or questions - we really do value your feedback: SBS-W.corporatemarketing@nhs.net.
