Having the right technology in place is one of the most powerful tools for change you have and for the NHS, having the right hardware in place is the first step to that change.
Digital hardware, such as connected computer systems, gives staff the test results, history, and evidence they need to make the best decisions for patients, and allows them to communicate effectively internally and externally.
The Digital Workplace: Hardware Framework Agreement, which is endorsed by NHS England as a recommended route to market for NHS buyers, covers all commonly purchased IT category areas with a particular focus on end user computer products such as desktop and laptop PCs, tablets, mobile devices, clinical displays, medical IT hardware, printers, scanners, peripherals and associated maintenance and deployment services.
This framework agreement forms part of a wider solution that focusses on digital transformation for better patient outcomes by providing the hardware to deliver joined-up digital first patient services.
