Accurate patient records are the foundation of good clinical care delivery for the NHS, enabling you to deliver safe and efficient patient care based on accurate records
The national continuity and digitisation of GP records programme aims to make all GP records continuous and digital at the point of use. This will reduce the administrative burden on primary care, improve patient care, release estates capacity, and contribute to the NHS net zero goal.
The Document Storage, Records Management and Integrated Solutions Framework Agreement provides a comprehensive scope that covers digitisation and scanning, as well as traditional paper archiving and retrieval functions, supporting you to achieve the aims of the national programme. It also aids the development of an electronic document and records management system with the selected records management provider and includes a lot for human tissue storage.
This framework agreement forms part of a wider solution that focusses on digital transformation for better patient outcomes, helping to achieve NHSE digital transformation targets.
