With workforce pressures, budgetary challenges, and the need to reduce the elective backlog, freeing up resource is critical. Intelligent Automation (IA) can support you to do this by automating back-office and clinical processes so that staff can get back to caring for patients and reducing elective backlog.
IA technologies, techniques and processes improve efficiency, reliability, and the speed of many internal processes, including time-consuming, repetitive tasks, such as typing patient information or transferring information between computer systems.
The NHS Long Term Plan set out a 10-year strategy for improving and reforming the healthcare sector in England, and one of the main tactics was to embrace technology to improve patient care and experiences.
The Intelligent Automation Framework Agreement looks at standard business processes to see how they can be automated. Intelligent automation enables healthcare organisations to remove some of the responsibility of administrative tasks from clinical teams so they can focus on patient care.
