The Orthotics Products and Services Framework Agreement offers a broad range of orthotic and prosthetic services and products across nine lots. These nine lots include; upper and lower body orthoses for adult and paediatric patients, prosthetics and postiche (wigs). The framework agreement allows for the provision of stock, modular and bespoke products. Plus, it also offers a wraparound managed service lot which can be utilised in full or in part. The framework agreement has been awarded to a wide breadth of suppliers and is flexible to allow new products to be added which are within scope of the specification.

This framework agreement was procured in accordance with The Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015. This framework agreement remains a compliant route to market under the new Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. If you have any questions, please contact the team.

What does this framework agreement cover?
This framework agreement provides a compliant route to market for the procurement of orthotic products and services (including Prosthetic services) to meet the current and future needs of the NHS and public sector organisations. The framework agreement has been awarded to a range of suppliers including well established market leaders and new entrants.

The framework agreement has been structured in the following lots:

  • Lot 1: Orthotic Products Upper body including neuro, limbs, cervical, and spinal. Lower body including lower extremity, knee, hip, limbs, ankle, and footwear. Standard stock and Bespoke products, adults and paediatric.
  • Lot 2: Orthotic Services Managed services options including clinicians, clinical sessions, and administrative staff. Effective management of orders and stock. Transport, training, decontamination, and repairs.
  • Lot 3: Prosthetic Services Managed services options including clinicians, clinical sessions, and administrative staff. Effective management of orders and stock. Transport, training, decontamination, and repairs.
