As a distributor of Cardiology and Radiology Medical Devices to the NHS, we have worked with NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) over a  number of years and via a number of frameworks.

In my role as Bid Manager for Acrostak-UK Ltd, I have found working with NHS SBS to be both easy and efficient – their tenders are clear and  concise. Subsequent framework awards are implemented smoothly and communication takes place regularly. We have found these frameworks to be helpful, particularly to us as an SME, in allowing us to access and supply a wider range of hospital Trusts.

An added advantage to working with NHS SBS is the ability to both utilise standard framework pricing, but also be able to offer alternative – Trust specific – prices where necessary. This gives greater flexibility and can often be the driver for winning further business. Again, such variations are added swiftly and managed with ease.

NHS SBS also support our drive for new technologies and medical advances by encouraging new products to be added to existing frameworks, where appropriate.
