NHS Shared Business Services awarded place on new NOE CPC framework agreement
Leeds, UK: Leading NHS corporate services provider, NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS), has been awarded a place on the new Consultancy and Associated Services framework agreement tendered by the NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC).
The framework agreement means that NHS organisations can swiftly, efficiently, and compliantly procure a range of consultancy and related services. With the ability to direct award, or to run a further competition, the framework agreement provides maximum flexibility, and can be used for both ad-hoc and long-term requirements.
Services provided by NHS SBS under the framework include:
- Tax and VAT (Lot C2)
- Procurement and Commissioning Support (Lot C3)
- Community Engagement (Lot D1)
- Energy Efficiency (Lot D3)
Martin Charters, Director of Integrated Healthcare Solutions at NHS SBS said:
“As part of the NHS ourselves, we have both the scale and the specialist knowledge, expertise and understanding required to assist NHS organisations with a wide range of requirements. For example, our VAT team successfully identifies over £1 billion in VAT recovery each year, which can be invested back into frontline services. We have also undertaken some of the NHS’s largest and most complex commissioning programmes.
“This new framework agreement will help ensure that NHS organisations have access to flexible expertise, designed with and for the NHS.”
