NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) is proud to announce its innovative framework agreement for the provision of AI Software in Neuroscience for Stroke Decision Making Support has been named the winner of this year’s Public Finance ‘Solutions Partner – Digital’ award.

Now in their eighth year, the Public Finance Awards acknowledge people, products and services that demonstrate, excellence and originality within public finance, and organisations that have made innovative and outstanding contributions by partnering with public sector bodies and having a transformative impact on public services.

The award is in recognition of NHS SBS’s efforts to bring pioneering and cutting-edge AI stroke diagnostic software to the NHS, transforming stroke diagnosis and treatment pathways for patients across the NHS.

Every year, 100,000 people in the UK are affected by stroke. Speed in diagnosis is vital to treatment.

By simplifying access to this transformative technology, the framework agreement supports NHS Long Term Plan objectives to improve stroke care outcomes and reduce long-term disability and the associated costs that brings with it.

By reducing delays in patient pathways, clinicians can dedicate more time to personalised care, and also ease patient waiting lists.

The achievement underscores NHS SBS’s commitment to driving excellence in public healthcare by facilitating access to transformative digital solutions.

It reinforces NHS SBS’s dedication to supporting the NHS in adopting pioneering technologies that make a tangible difference to patients’ lives, so they can receive the right care, faster and improve outcomes.
