Framework Agreement Description
The Workspace Optimisation Framework Agreement provides contracting authorities with a compliant route to market for any workspace optimisation requirements they may have. This includes assisting with measures to implement effective 'social distancing'. Suppliers are able to review office space and facilities ensuring they are fit for purpose, monitor workspace usage through sensors or people counters to enable the appropriate management of workspaces, work areas, occupancy levels etc.

All Approved Organisations, including both NHS and Non-NHS / wider Public Sector
What does the framework agreement cover?
The Workspace Optimisation Framework Agreement provides Contracting Authorities with a compliant route to market for any workspace optimisation requirements they may have. By using the services under this Lot, organisations are able to review office space and facilities ensuring they are fit for purpose, monitor workspace usage through sensors or people counters to enable the appropriate management of workspaces, work areas, occupancy levels for a multitude of reasons. Sensors are also able to be linked to online booking systems to enable organisations the ability to control which work spaces are available for use and help enable and implement social distancing in the workplace. Management information and detailed analysis of sensor data is also available to help inform decision and policy making.
What are the benefits of using the framework agreement?
• SOCIAL DISTANCING
Services provided can be an important and powerful tool to help organisations implement and manage policies to help enforce social distancing and safe working practices. Suppliers on this framework agreement are able to help review office space and facilities ensuring they are fit for purpose as we transition to the 'new normal'.
• FLEXIBLE
Customers will be able to tap into services and configure service offerings to meet individual organisational requirements. Suppliers will be expected to work in partnership with Contracting Authorities to develop and tailor services over the life of the contract.
• CHOICE OF AWARD
Contracting Authorities have the ability to call off directly where the terms laid down in the framework agreement are precise enough or alternatively, a mini-competition can be conducted via the framework agreement.
• INNOVATION
The appointed suppliers will be able to introduce technological and cost-saving innovative services throughout the life of the framework agreement.
• OJEU COMPLIANCE
A detailed procurement exercise has taken place to ensure that suppliers selected are appropriate in terms of meeting all legislative requirements and therefore no formal tendering is required, saving valuable time & money in the procurement process.
