Welcome to the June edition of Framework Agreement News. This month, we highlight our Gold Standard accreditation, upcoming AI opportunities, funding updates, and ways to engage with our framework agreements.

Achieving the Gold Standard

Our Construction and Estates Framework Agreements have achieved full verification under the Constructing the Gold Standard Verification Scheme – a nationally recognised benchmark for excellence in public sector construction procurement.

This confirms that our framework agreements meet all 24 recommendations of the independent Constructing the Gold Standard review, demonstrating strong alignment with best practice in:

  • Collaboration
  • Transparency
  • Sustainability
  • Long-term value creation

Developed by Constructing Excellence with King’s College London and supported by the UK government, the scheme is designed to improve procurement outcomes, reduce risk, and support net zero goals.

What this means for you
You can confidently use our framework agreements knowing they meet the highest national standards for quality, compliance, and long-term value.

The Importance of Corporate Services

Last week we published a new report that provides the first comprehensive, evidence-based analysis of the importance of corporate services – including procurement – in delivering patient care.

Published at a time of major reform and £10bn in digital investment, “Futureproofing the NHS”, finds that strengthening procurement, finance and workforce systems is essential to realising the full benefits of transformation within the NHS.

The report contains seven practical considerations for health service and government leaders contained in the analysis, including:

  • Treating operational infrastructure as the foundation that enables clinical capacity to be created, staff time to be saved, and savings to be made.
  • Using operational data as an ‘early-warning’ infrastructure, because workforce and financial data can reveal system pressures months before they show up in wait times.
  • Making collaboration easy by ensuring local leaders have genuine influence over the evolution of shared services.

Time to Act: EV Workplace Charging Funding Extended

The government-backed Workplace Charging Scheme to accelerate EV infrastructure plans has been extended.

Available to the NHS and wider public sector, the scheme can significantly reduce the upfront cost of installing EV chargepoints.

As fleets and staff transition to electric vehicles, workplace charging is becoming essential – not just for convenience, but to support net zero commitments and future estate planning.

Through Lot 5 (Electric vehicle charging solutions) of our Sustainable Transport and Infrastructure Framework Agreement you can access trusted suppliers and deliver charging infrastructure efficiently and compliantly.

Funding is available until 31 March 2027 – but early planning is essential to secure support – don’t miss out.
