NHS SBS framework agreements are designed to ensure competitive pricing, to help drive savings and improve efficiencies. Customers have the ability to directly call-off from a framework or run a mini-competition, therefore allowing more flexibility. All of our frameworks offer a compliant route to market giving confidence, as well as having a comprehensive choice of suppliers and excellent geographic coverage. The NHS SBS framework agreements are easy to access and utilise. Our specialist category teams are also able to provide additional support should you require any help with developing specifications, running mini-competitions and analysing data to identify cost saving opportunities. This Apprenticeship Training Services Framework provides a compliant route to access services from a broad range of apprenticeship training providers, supporting employers to effectively utilise their apprenticeship levy.

The Facilities Management (Soft FM) Framework provides a compliant route to access various facilities management services including, but not limited to, cleaning services, lift maintenance, laundry services, security services, gardening and pest control services.
The Fire Safety Equipment (Hard FM) Framework provides a comprehensive catalogue of fire safety equipment and associated provision of advice and support for fire safety equipment. This lot includes the supply, installation, maintenance and training for the fire safety training.
The Fuel Cards (Lot 3 Vehicle Solutions: Vehicle Fleet Management, Vehicle Lease / Hire and Fuel Cards) Framework covers the provision of fuel cards for public sector authorities. Utilising fuel cards is an efficient way to manage your fleet offering savings on fuel purchases and significant reduction in administration time and paperwork.
The Hard Facilities Management Framework includes 83 different suppliers across 50 different lots, covering everything from building management systems and removal services; to fire safety equipment and training; electrical sundries and components, to catering equipment maintenance, measured term contracts and a fully managed service element.
The Healthcare Clinical Information Systems Framework provides a compliant route to access Healthcare Clinical Information Systems. This includes the following services; theatre, maternity, and electronic prescribing.
The Insourcing of Clinical Services Framework supports the use of insourcing across the NHS to secure extra clinical capacity to meet increasing demand. This short to medium term solution allows Trusts to retain capacity planning in-house and ensure patients can be seen within the Trust.

The Link: IT Solutions (Networks, Software, Hardware & IT Services) Framework provides a compliant route to meet your IT requirements across a number of areas. This includes; storage, virtualisation, bespoke software, and desktop operating systems.
The Managed Print Services Framework is a partnership between NHS Shared Business Services and Lexmark, which offers a unique managed print solution tailored to the individual needs of each organisation. The framework aims to replace an existing infrastructure of historic printers, copiers and other multifunctional devices, with a new fleet of devices suited to the needs of the business.
The Measured Terms Contract and Minor Works (Hard FM) Framework covers work including; reactive painting and decorating; mechanical maintenance work, electric work and building maintenance work.
The Medicines Management Prescribing Decision Support System Framework provides a compliant route to access a computerised system for increasing the effectiveness, safety and cost effectiveness of prescribing medicines.
The Modular Buildings Framework is the only national agreement of its type. This framework covers offsite building solutions for purchase, hire and lease. On average, the framework offers 5% savings when compared to purchasing solutions direct.
The Records Management Framework covers the provision of off-site storage of traditional paper archiving and retrieval, scanning, electronic capture and disposal. There is the scope to make substantial savings by consolidating storage solutions when transitioning from paper records to electronic.
The Removal Services (Hard FM) Framework includes general, bespoke and specialist removal services. The framework can also include the provision of storage and disposal of scrap items and/or equipment.
The Security Services Framework has been put together to provide estate, facilities and capital teams with a compliant route to market for the provision of a full range of security services. This framework enables users to choose an integrated security service; a single service, such as manned patrols or CCTV, or to opt for a bundled service.
The Staff Uniforms and Protective Clothing Framework provides a compliant route to access a full range of staff uniforms, footwear and personal protective clothing from a range of supplier offerings.
The Statutory Inspections & Rating Support Services (Hard FM) Framework includes the annual programme of statutory inspections, and the provision of a comprehensive service including, but not limited to, rate audits and rateable valuations.
The Technology Enabled Care Services Framework provides a compliant route to access various health and social care technologies. This includes; telecare alarm technologies, continuous monitoring and associated diagnostic services. Also included is scheduled and on demand remote interactions e.g. teleconsultations.
This Temporary Staffing - Non Medical and Non Clinical Framework provides a compliant route to access non-medical, non-clinical temporary and fixed-term staff to the NHS and public bodies, across bands 0 to 10.
The Travel Management Services Framework provides a compliant route to access travel management services. These services include rail services, car hire, conference and events management, accommodation, and airport parking and lounge services.
The Vehicle Fleet Management (Vehicle Solutions) Framework enables the authority to procure vehicles and services under components, including, but not limited to car Schemes via salary deduction, salary sacrifice or lease, fleet Vehicle management and grey fleet management.
The Vehicle Lease and Hire (Vehicle Solutions) Framework enables the authority to procure a selection of vehicles, including, but not limited to; cars, vans, ambulances and minibuses via a variety of hire and leasing options.
The Vehicle Solutions: Vehicle Fleet Management, Vehicle Lease / Hire and Fuel Cards Framework enables NHS SBS customers to procure vehicles under components such as car schemes, fleet vehicle management, grey fleets management and lease or hire vehicles.
The Ward, Bedside and Non-Medical Theatre Equipment Framework provides a compliant route to accessing ward equipment, bedside equipment, shelving and equipment, shelving and racking, and non-medical theatre equipment.
The Waste Management and Minimisation Services Framework provides a compliant route to access clinical healthcare waste services, confidential and miscellaneous waste, and total waste management (TWM) services.
The Workforce and Wellbeing Services Framework has been built to deliver a high quality multi-disciplinary occupational health and wellbeing service. The framework includes a full range of core services, plus optical services and offering SEQOHS (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service) accredited service.
Health Framework Agreements
The Advanced Wound and Skin Care Management Framework allows contracting authorities to benefit from the expertise of the awarded suppliers in selecting the most economically advantageous solutions for wound and skin care management.
The Advanced Wound Care Delivery - Total Managed Service Framework is an independent and bespoke web based ordering process to complement a Trust's agreed advanced woundcare formulary and associated consumables products/medical devices.
The Cardiology, Interventional Radiology and Vascular Grafts Framework covers three main areas of cardiology, interventional radiology and vascular grafts.
The Clinical Managed Services Framework provides comprehensive coverage within the area of managed service provision. The framework includes diagnostics, diagnostic imaging, renal, catheter laboratories, decontamination and maintenance services.
The Community Equipment, Products and Services Framework has been procured to provide a wide scope of compliant coverage for customers working in community, acute and mental healthcare settings.
The Contrast Media (including Injectors and Associated Products) Framework covers; contrast media, contrast injectors and ancillaries / associated products.
The Dental Equipment and Consumables Framework includes, but is not limited to; autoclaves sterilisers, cabinetry, compressors, suction equipment, x-ray, microscopes, patient sedation, scalers, and orthodontic products.
The Diabetic Support and Podiatry Consumables Framework provides diabetic support products, including insulin pumps, monitors and consumables. The framework also includes podiatry products, which support the treatment of the high risk foot.
The Endoscopes (flexible and rigid) and Decontamination Products Framework covers flexible and rigid endoscopes; hysterscope sheaths camera systems, decontamination products and maintenance, and managed service provisions.
The Endoscopy Consumables Framework provides a wide supply of endoscopy consumables. This includes; forceps, guide wire, ERCP, endoscopic stent and balloon dilation.
The Endosurgery and Women's Health Framework includes women's health and laparoscopic instruments.The majority of suppliers offer savings in their ranges.
The Equipment for the High Level Disinfection of Ultrasound Probes Framework aims to support and work with Trusts to comply with best practice guidance on the decontamination of ultrasound probes from Health Protection Scotland, Health Facilities Scotland, Welsh Technical Memorandum WHTM01-06 and Irish Health Executive.
The Homecare Services for Trusts - HIV & Related Disorders Medication Framework covers controlled dispensing and delivery of medicines. The delivery service provides HIV medication to patients in their own home or an agreed safe and designated place.
The Inventory Management and Neutral Wholesale Services Framework aims to utilise information already existing within each NHS SBS member's systems to produce clearer demand planning. The benefits of this includes; reducing the amount of stock held, strengthening stock management through more accurate usage capture, and increasing ordering efficiency by moving towards JIT.
The Lease Advisory Services Framework provides advice on a range of equipment providing lease pricing. The framework advises on alternative cost mechanisms such as potential rental benefits, which may challenge the capital cost differentials associated with the kit.
The Medical Consumables - Phase 2 Framework covers a wide range of products, which includes, but is not limited to; airway management consumables, suction catheters, suction liners, wound and chest drainage, and autologous blood consumables.
The Medical Consumables - Phase 3 Framework aims to provide an accessible process to purchase the latest and most comprehensive range of products meeting with latest and highest Sharps Safety regulatory standards and guidance on EnFit enteral feeding compliance.
The Medical Gases in Cylinders and Bulk Gases Framework provides a competitive framework for clients of NHS SBS to purchase cylinders containing a variety of medical gases.
The Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Framework covers; equipment purchase options, managed service, mobile and static imaging, teleradiology, medical imaging consultancy, PACS and RIS, and radiation protection and consumables.
The Neutral Vendor Managed Services Framework allows for contracting authorities to procure managed services for clinical and non-clinical requirements. The framework includes, but is not limited to; diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, and point of care.
The Ophthalmology Equipment and Consumables Framework covers an assortment of ophthalmology equipment and consumable products; including, but not limited to; intraocular lenses, phacoemulsification machines and consumables ophthalmic visco elastic devices (OVD's), solutions and dyes and procedure packs.
The Orthopaedics and Associated Products Framework combines four major orthopaedic areas to provide a total. These areas are; orthopaedic implants, arthroscopy, power tools and consumables, and ultrasound long bone healing.
The Orthotics Products and Services Framework has 9 lots, covering upper and lower body orthoses for adult and paediatric patients.
The Patient Connected Support and Therapy Equipment Framework includes, a comprehensive range of patient connected equipment to cover clinical specialities and therapeutic treatments; from basic bedside devices to high end navigation and guidance system. The framework contains 20 lots offering equipment and consumables suited to a specific speciality or clinical area and a managed services lot.
The Patient Discharge Services Framework has been developed to support hospital discharges for adults and streamline the transition to prevent re-admissions to hospital. The framework has been divided into three lots; discharge to assess services, third party brokerage and medical care at home.
The Point of Care Testing: Drugs of Abuse Framework is a multi-lot framework agreement which covers drugs of abuse and alcohol testing products and services. It enables customers to test patient / donor urine, oral fluid and hair samples for the presence of any 'classic' drugs of abuse, new psychoactive substances (NPS / 'legal highs') and/or alcohol.
The Procedure Packs Framework is a flexible and broadly encompassing framework to meet the needs of all customers. The framework covers; bowl packs, blood culture packs, ward and community packs, surgical and non-surgical packs.
The Products to Aid the Prevention of Patient Falls Framework provides the opportunity to access solutions and products from suppliers known for their innovation to prevent patient falls.
The Radiopharmaceutical Products Framework includes; radiopharmaceutical kits, diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals, therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, technetium generators, krypton generators and 18F -FDG.
The Renal Haemodialysis - Equipment and Consumables Framework enables member trusts to procure an assortment of renal haemodialysis equipment and consumable products. The products available on this framework include; dialysers, sodium bicarbonate, blood lines and sets, needles, cleaning Cartridges, haemodialysis machines, water treatment machines and other associated machines and accessories, plus renal furniture.
The Robotic Surgery, Consumables and Related Services Framework includes; robotic surgery, related services and consumables and a route to market to a managed service. Robotic surgical systems consist of robotic arms with laparoscopic instruments, where doctor sits a few feet away from operating table at a computer console viewing 3D visual of operating region. Market predictions for sales growth of robotic assistance for intuitive is a 20% increase as more systems are employed across a wider range of clinical specialities.
The Respiratory Therapy - Equipment and Consumables Framework provides services for; sleep apnoea; asthma and COPD support; smoking cessation; products to support respiratory therapy, a managed service provision and home delivery provision.
The Surgical Instrumentation Framework is made up of seven lots and has been procured to provide a wide scope of compliant coverage for customers working in both acute trusts and community healthcare settings. The framework offers a broad range of products via a number of well-established suppliers, as well as new entrants in the surgical instrumentation market.
The Teleradiology Reporting Services Framework supports the increasingly popular use of teleradiology services to meet the current and future needs of NHS radiology reporting. The framework supports early diagnosis of patients through the quick turnaround of medical imaging scans.
The Topical Negative Pressure Products & Services Framework includes; topical negative pressure systems and accessories, single use kits, and a choice of either foam or gauzed based dressings.
The Urology Products and Associated Support Provision Framework is a multi-lot framework, which provides a compliant route to market for a wide range of urology products used in both an acute and community setting. With extensive clinical input from a group of experienced multidisciplinary stakeholders, this framework offers products from quality established and SME suppliers.
The VTE Compression Devices and Anti-Embolism Stockings Framework includes; calf, foot and thigh compression garments with electronic controller / pump and associated products.
