Welcome to our November 2025 framework agreement update.
New Framework Agreements
Online Sexual Health Services
STIs and unplanned pregnancy are amongst the most important contributors to poor health, particularly in the most deprived neighbourhoods. Opening up equitable access to all supports the move from sickness to prevention.
One way the NHS and local authorities can reach more people is by offering sexual health services online. Our new Online Sexual Health Services Framework Agreement, procured via the Provider Selection Regime (PSR), covers STI testing and treatment services, contraceptive advice and prescribing, and HIV screening and preventative treatment.
Interpretation and Translation Services
Language barriers can lead to poorer health outcomes; miscommunication can result in misdiagnosis, incorrect treatments, medication errors and missed and repeated appointments, and with over one million people in the UK who can’t speak English fluently, or at all, it’s vital that the public sector invests in appropriate interpretation and language services.
Our Interpretation and Translation Services Framework Agreement offers in-person, digital, and AI-enabled solutions to support clear communication and safe, inclusive care for all patients. Translators bring sector-specific expertise, ensuring that content is not only linguistically accurate but also contextually appropriate – supporting patient and citizen safety, legal compliance, and cultural sensitivity.
From McDonalds to Medical Gases…
Five years ago, Category Manager Will Mitten was working full time at McDonalds, having started as an apprentice on the management scheme. The feedback he received was that he didn’t “have ketchup in his blood.”
But how did he go from McDonalds to Medical Gases? In our latest blog, Will spills the chicken nuggets about his procurement journey from working in McDonalds to preparing to launch his first end-to-end procurement next year.

Forthcoming Framework Agreements
Our first two Procurement Act 2023 framework agreements are due to go live in November.
Radiopharmaceutical Products
With an ageing and growing population in the UK, comes an increase in diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, therefore there is an increasing need for radiopharmaceuticals to diagnose diseases early for clinicians to give patients the treatment plans they need. Radiopharmaceuticals have both diagnostic and therapeutic applications and are pivotal to the NHS achieving its aim to diagnose 75% of cancers at stage 1 or 2 by 2028.
Our framework agreement covers a range of nuclear medicine products that are vital for the early diagnosis of a variety of diseases and health conditions. It includes radiopharmaceutical kits, diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, including Fludeoxyglucose (18FDG), and a range of generators including technetium, krypton, and gallium.
Respiratory Therapy Solutions
Respiratory diseases are a significant public health challenge in England, affecting one in five people and ranking as the third leading cause of death, following cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Lung conditions, including sleep apnoea, asthma and COPD, cost the NHS approximately £11 billion annually. Hospital admissions for respiratory conditions have been rising at three times the rate of all other admissions, contributing heavily to winter pressures faced by the NHS.
Our framework agreement covers sleep therapy and monitoring devices, non-invasive ventilation and high-flow therapy devices, and electronic mucus clearance devices to support people at home to reduce pressure on the NHS. Additionally, associated services offered under this framework agreement feature remote monitoring and diagnostics, training, maintenance, and home delivery services.
Both have been procured as open framework agreements that will re-open at years three and five to enable new suppliers to join.
