What are the benefits of using this framework agreement?
OPERATION EFFICIENCY
Provides operational efficiency by streamlining service delivery and maintenance, reducing downtime and improving care quality.
SUPPORTS ELECTIVE RECOVERY
Clinical managed services (CMS) can ensure optimal use of existing equipment and facilitate the procurement and maintenance of new or upgraded equipment, maximising the number of patients that can be treated to support elective recovery.
OEM AND NEUTRAL VENDOR
Offers both Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and neutral vendor options within one lot to enable customers to choose the company that manufactures the product or use an independent third party, providing the flexibility of choice to deliver the best service.
INCREASES THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS SEEN
Helps with updating the equipment such as diagnostic imaging equipment, pathology and laboratory equipment, and more, to ensure reliability of services to patients, increasing the number of patients that can be seen and treated.
PROVIDES SERVICE RESILIENCE
Managed services often provide a more cost-effective solution than maintaining a in-house team. This can reduce overhead costs relating to staffing, training and equipment, and provide service resilience.
REDUCES WAITING TIMES FOR PATIENTS
CMS can contribute to quicker turnaround times for diagnostic tests and procedures, leading to faster diagnosis and treatment decisions, which in turn can reduce waiting times for patients and improve patient outcomes.
