The framework agreement supports the sourcing of a wide range of cloud services, providing a compliant route to market for the design and consultancy, all the way to complete solutions. The lots are structured to guide users through their cloud journey, from consultancy and readiness assessment, through to the procurement of infrastructure and platform, as well as on-going support.

What does this framework agreement cover?
The Cloud Solutions 2 Framework Agreement can be used by NHS and wider public sector organisations to purchase cloud services and solutions, including off-premises, IaaS, PaaS, and end-to-end cloud solutions. It provides a compliant and very competitive buying vehicle for all commonly purchased IT category areas, with particular focus cloud services.

Lot 1 – Solution design and consultancy:
Includes initial support ahead of cloud adoption/implementation, analysis/mapping of ‘as is’ situation, cloud readiness assessments, architecture design, migration planning.

Lot 2 – Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS):
Includes public cloud and/or private and hybrid cloud hosting, processing, storage, networks, applications running on a cloud infrastructure and more.

Lot 3 – Cloud support services:
Includes real time support, access to professional expertise plus a wide range of ongoing or ad hoc specialist support services.

Lot 4 – End-to-end cloud solutions:
Covers all of the above services under one lot.
