With an aging population and more complex clinical conditions, the demand for orthotic services is increasing.
An estimated £220 million per annum is spent by the NHS on assistive technologies which include orthotics, audiology, community equipment, electronic assistive technology, telecare and prosthetics.
For patients, the correct supply and fitting of orthotic devices can be a major factor in the management of their condition, to improve the quality of life and the prevent future problems.
Being able to access the right orthotics equipment, quickly, and with appropriate support, is paramount for patients. Our Orthotics Products and Services including Prosthetic Services Framework Agreement allows for the provision of stock, modular and bespoke products. Plus, it offers a wraparound managed service lot which can be utilised in full or in part. The framework agreement has been awarded to a wide breadth of suppliers and is flexible to allow new products to be added which are within scope of the specification.
