A solution to support Elective Recovery
Elective recovery is a key focus for the NHS. All Trusts have been tasked with reducing the number of patients waiting for treatment, by addressing the backlog from both the pandemic and strike action.
Although progress has been made, NHSE is challenging Trusts to virtually eliminate 65 week waits, to reduce the number of cancer patients waiting over 62 days, and to meet the cancer Faster Diagnosis Standard, with 75% of patients referred by their GP for suspected cancer being diagnosed, or having cancer ruled out, within 28 days.
How can you achieve this?
To support you to achieve the targets set out by NHSE, and improve patient pathways, we have created the Elective Recovery Combined Framework Agreement Solution, which groups four of our framework agreements that, when utilised together, provide you with access to additional resources so you can see more patients, more quickly.
What does the solution include?
Insourcing of Clinical Services
Third party care providers deliver care to your patients out of hours, on your premises, reducing the backlog and increasing capacity.
Clinical Managed Services including Managed Maintenance Service
Specialist providers deliver services for you, increasing the volume of patients that can be seen, helping to address the backlog and release resource.
Reporting Services: Teleradiology
Benefit from quicker turnaround of medical imagining scans, supporting early diagnosis and improved patient pathways.
Methods and processes that improve diagnosis and support productivity. AI reduces noise on images, so scans are clearer for clinicians, and radiology departments can continue out of hours without a radiologist on site, reducing the burden on clinicians while increasing outputs.
Our team of procurement experts, including both clinical and non-clinical category specialists, is on hand to advise and provide additional capacity should you require it. We’re here to support you to turn your problem into a solution, drawing from our first-hand experience across the clinical and procurement environment.
